Introducing Jesus Talks: Real Women, Real Stories and Real Encounters With God

What if sharing your story could help another woman find her way back to Jesus?

I’ve been thinking about this question for a long time.

When I started Sacred Salt Sisters, I envisioned more than a website, a wellness brand, or a place to share my love for the ocean. I wanted to create a community of women who could come together through faith, wellness, surfing, and genuine sisterhood—women who could meet at the beach, paddle out together, pray together, and talk openly about what God is doing in their lives.

And women who could share the stories that aren’t always easy to tell.

That’s where Jesus Talks comes in.

What Is Jesus Talks?

Jesus Talks is a storytelling series within Sacred Salt Sisters that shares real women’s experiences with Jesus.

Some stories might be about answered prayers. Others might be about finding faith after years of feeling lost, experiencing God’s presence during a difficult season, or discovering an entirely new relationship with Jesus.

Every woman’s journey is different, and every story matters.

I hope to share these experiences through written interviews, personal essays, video conversations (why not subscribe to my youtube where I am hosting interviews and sharing stories), and, eventually, in-person gatherings.

Why I’m Starting This

As a writer, I’ve always loved hearing people’s stories. But my own faith journey has shown me how powerful it can be to hear someone talk openly about her relationship with God.

Sometimes we need to know that another woman has struggled with the same questions.
Sometimes we need encouragement to keep praying.
Sometimes we simply need someone to remind us we aren’t alone.

I believe our stories can do that.

From the Beach to a Global Sisterhood

Having recently moved to Orange County, California, I’m excited to start bringing women together along the coast.

I envision mornings at the beach where we can surf, walk, pray, share our experiences, and build friendships rooted in faith. Eventually, I’d love to see Sacred Salt Sisters gatherings happening all around the world (join the surf group on what’s app if you’re in the area!!).

You don’t need to know how to surf. You don’t need to have all the answers about faith. You need an open heart and a willingness to connect.
